I'm Really sick of Tendou and Tsukasa Hate

The funny thing I think is that when you say Tendou is a parody of Inoue, it leaves it a bit ambiguous as to whether you mean Inoue's writing or Inoue the person.

I think that's funny anyway.

It's not on the Japanese Wikipedia now -- the only quote there referencing Inoue is by Shirakura, explaining why he didn't select Inoue as main writer again. Nothing at all about parodying Inoue, the man or Inoue, his works...

I mean, I think one could say that it seems like Tendou -- and a lot of Kabuto -- is spoofing Inoue's style, but I always thought it was just Yonemura wanting really, really, really badly to be Inoue, and just not being a good enough writer (period, but also not a good enough writer to know that he was trying to emulate bad Inoue).

What were Shirakura's reasons for not picking Inoue again?

I think Yonemura is a good writer when he's...not a head writer. At least these days. He was pretty terrible back in the days of Kabuto and Kiva, doing stuff like making Nago flip out over buttons.

DISCLAIMER: The following statement is in no way intended to offend (even though some of you undoubtedly will be). To take offense to this post would be to missinterpret its intention entirely. This statement is in no way cannon nor am I claiming it to be as such. This is purely speculation. Also before you decide to make some angry response one of my best friends (not the one mentioned below) has Aspergers so I don't wanna hear people trying to claim this to be some sort of hate speech. But after I had this discussion with the friend mentioned below, i asked my Aspie buddy what he thought, and he himself (after watching i think the first 10 eps of Kabuto) said that there were some pretty good parallels. So I think there really might be some credibility to this idea.

So 2 days ago, a buddy and I were on the way to the airport to pick up my Mom from a trip she was on. On the way down there we were having a discussion about our individual gripes about our primary respective fandoms. Him with Bronys and I with Tokusatsu. Anyway for one reason or another I got to talking about this thread and how I was frustrated with some fans inability to see past Tendou "being an ass".

While describing Tendou's character to this friend he stopped me and jokingly told me to stop describing Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory. And then it clicked a little, I realized that Tendou exhibits a number of symptoms often associated with Aspergers Syndrome. Now am I outright saying "Tendou is an Aspie" and he was intentionally written this way, thusly excusing everything the character does? No.

What I and my buddy are saying is that a mild social disorder along the lines of Aspergers would explain alot of Tendou's actions. His apparent "lack of empathy", His inability to recognize peoples change in tone (usually when mocking him), Hes pretty much only talking about 2 things (cooking and his grandma), He really only has a couple of strong interests and doesn't really feel much pull to get more, he doesn't seem to really pick up on social cues, and is exceptionally talented.

I'm not saying this is fact or anything but even I was shocked at all the parallels he had picked out in watching only the first 2 episodes. There might possibly be something to that theory.

Using clock up too much makes life too slow when not using it. Tendou is not getting them cues cause everything is in slow motion
