I'm goin' to New York!

Next month I'm going to New York City for a weekend (oct. 5 to 7) and I'm looking for some rcommandation of places where I could shop for some hard-to-find-here items. My hotel is gonna be on Broadway (not just exactly where though).

With my mom and sister wanting to go shopping I don't want to be the only one not bringing back anything :laugh: at worse I want to find a The First DVD since it's apparantly not available in my province :redface2:

So any of you just so happen to know anything about the Big Apple?
