I'm giving Hibiki a second chance

It started with an unfunny musical.

I was up to the standards of Faiz Musical, it disappointed.

And it just came off as 'bleh'.

1st episode was awesome! :P

The whole concept is interesting. Might be one of the only few series where Kamen Rider must train to become stronger, not just have their power given to them by a device.

Hibiki is a very mature series, exact opposite of Den-O, but wow, you don't appreciate the musicals of Hibiki? I love the rythms. :) And it fits so well into the series since it's based on music and sounds.

For me, the best scene in Hibiki is the Zanki-Todoroki's last fighting:thumbs:
When they do 'the rockers show' together, it's... amazing yet sad

another reason for watch Hibiki till the end:thumbs:

I was more referring to the character. ;)

Personally, I rather was amused by the musical. Either it was the band nerd in me, or the idea that "hey, my sister will probably watch this with me now."

I had to ask my friend who was further in the series at the time "Is this in every episode?"

Cause while It was cool and nifty to see, I didn't want to see 50 episodes with a moment like that.

Though now that I think about it. . . It might be pretty awesome. . . Who knows?

I love Hibiki.

Only huge bright spot in the show.

Hibiki's bad ass.

I love Hibiki.

The show? Eh.

Okay, finished Episode 5...

...

And I really am enjoying...the last two episodes. The Disc Animals seem better now as they are used as basic fighting tools to distract and more importantly trackers for the demons.

Hibiki still rules the roost. Awesome main Rider.

Asumu is getting less grating on the ears, and I'm slightly, slightly intersted in if he doesn't make it into Jounan or not.

The monsters are getting better; I like the human evolving ones, but the big monster ones like the spider, the ogre thing and the crab? Eh, don't really like those.

And I'm getting use to the weird style, but I'm enjoying it.

I'm going to continue, I really, REALLY liked the last two episodes. Kasumi has some good reaction with the man, Hibiki.

Just feed me more Hibiki, I'm interested on how Zanki got his ass whooped, I wanna' see more of Ibuki who I'm pretty sure got introduced last episode with a sweet ring tone of a trumpet and a scary case of an old lady having sexual thoughts about him.

You'll get to see Ibuki in his Oni form in episode 7, I'm sure you'll like him. And if it's any consolation, you'll see someone call Asumu on his whininess in the next few episodes as well. Glad you're liking the series though, it took even me a few episodes to really get into it.

I watched Hibiki waaay ahead of you and suffice to say, I actually like it so far (I'm only at 27).

Oh yeah. Even though Hibiki's way different from other Kamen Riders, the main characters are hugely likable (okay, except one certain asshole, but that's at another date), even Asumu's likable too after a couple of episodes. And to be only fair, I think you watch the series halfway and if you like it so much, then watch the rest.
