Giving Hibiki Another Try.

Getting past the first 5-10 episodes of Hibiki is a challenge indeed, but after that, you get easily hooked, especially because you begin to care more and more about the characters, which makes the last episodes much more powerful when you see them.

That reminds me, I need to finish V3, too. I really like it, but I either need to either find some raws or a decently-subbed version somewhere on the interweb. These friggin' HK subs are making my eyes bleed. :redface2:

"Woddy!!!"
Yeah, gotta love those hk subs... :redface2: I am still surprised. I know there has been an official (but limited) release of the V3 episodes in the US with professional subs. Yet, I have NEVER seen a torrent or a download link for them. It is surprising that no one in the community have them

I considered buying it the other day, and then I saw the price. That's the fastest change of mind I've ever had.

And compared to what it costs to get V3 in Japan (in any version), the R1 set is actually not that bad!

It's still expensive, and I know that's a huge turn-off for people at the moment, but if you like V3 and you have the money for it, I'd strongly recommend it. I'm not going to bullshit around and tell people to buy it "to support then fandomz!" or something. JNP is a small company so the fact that they even got to release it is a miracle, and making back the cost of securing the show from Toei unfortunately means it's got to be sold at a higher price. But it is a very nice set, and if you're thinking about it, it's totally worth saving up for.
:sayin:

I'm also on it, so you know it's good.

Ditto. I haven't had much interest in either of the Tomica Hero shows, but I've got every episode backed up for when I figure "what the hell, I'll give 'em another try".

That is the best thing to do. Sometimes you get a dry spell and have nothing to watch and then you can always grab the stuff you've got downloaded.

Episode 3............ this show is excruciating. :bawling:

Opening musical scenes... musical overtones... a jolly bitch kid I wanna punch.....

I want to like this show, cuz I really want to see the Guitar Riders I've seen in avatars. This show tho is almost unbearable... :(

I feel you there. It was very tuff for me. I think I watched to episode 9? Something like that and I stopped and went onto Kabuto. But then, I decided after I saw Todoroki in Decade in Blade's world. I was like, "My man is badass!" So, I went and watched the rest of the series. It gets a lot better!

Just hang in there, yes, Todoroki and Zanki (the Guitar Riders) Do make the show a little better, and they make you laugh a lot. Or, at least Todoroki does.

Did you get to Ibuki yet? (Trumpet Rider)
