The Highwayman. A Glen Larson series that Bruce Kalish worked on.

...There's a lot of explosions and odd plots, but you cant beat Star Trek references and a truck that houses a helicopter.

You know what show was great back in the day? Talk Soup with John Henson. Greg Kinnear was pretty good on there too. And Hal Sparks had his moments as well. John was the best though.

I miss that show.

E! has that sad impersonation "The Soup" now, but it doesn't hold a candle to it's predecessor.
