IDW Beast Wars Comic Book (Warning: Link provides some spoilers)

Hey I just found this at one of the sites I visit:

So far from the screen caps, it looks to be a very promising Comic book although it sucks that it will only be 4 issues long. I still can't wait till this comic comes out because I will definitely pick it up.

First series is four issues, they will probably be more.

Looks like more alternate universe continuity, meaning Hasbro want to keep BM canon.

Well actually the way that they have both Magmatron and Lioconvoy, it means that they are probably following Japan's Beast Wars Neo and Beast Wars II series.

That looks gorram incredible. Is that Don Figeriro art? I thought with the fall of the DW Transformers that'd be the end of quality.

Is there any chance we'll see the return of Brad Mick at all? He was by for the best Transformer writer I could've ever hoped for.

No, Furman is writing both IDW publications, the reason BW is four issues is to give Furman time to work on the six issue Generation One mini-series and the Power Rangers SPD comic strip for the Jetix UK Magazine.
