I Played a PS3.

Oh. AND BTW!

FANS OF THE RUMBLE FEATURE WATCH OUT FOR THE NEXT UPCOMING DUALSHOCK!

News of a Rumbling Ps3 Controller is tumbling in!

Like I've said before, PS3 sure does have the power n' stuff... and once it has the library to back it up, which should be in two years or so... then I'll be more open to getting one.

For now.. I stick to the system that has the killer games in the present.

The 360.

I do hope MGS4 comes to the 360. From everything I'm hearing, they've changed all the janked controls I've never loved from MGS and made it playable so that a guy like me could finally actually enjoy MGS like I've always wanted to.

I think Sony's and Konami are gonna wait. If MGS4 doesn't sell like hot cakes and push PS3 consoles, then they'll port it to the 360. If it proves to be exactally what the PS3 needs and starts pushing hardware, I can see Sony plunking down munnies to make sure it stays exclusive.

I really wouldn't hold my breath for MGS4 on the 360. Kojima clearly stated that he wants to keep it PS3-exclusive. Moreover, in-game footage shows Snake using a PS3 gamepad. I don't see them porting that over to the 360.

Anyway, for me it's pretty simple, when it all boils down to it:
- For US games: 360
- For Japanese games: PS3
- For fun and family games: Wii

That's why I'm sticking with a Wii/PS3 combo, because I'm not big on US games. I see Mass Effect and acknowledge it's looking promising ... but I just can't bring myself to like it, whereas Japanese RPG's can easily catch my attention. This is why I feel the only worthwhile exclusives on the 360 are Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata. All the other Japanese games I'm interested will either be released exclusively on Wii or PS3, or they are multiplatform.

The main reason I got my PS3 was MGS4. I'm a big fan of MGS as my name suggests. So whether it reaches the 360 or not, I'll be getting it for my PS3.

Did any of you guys hear about the new 40GB PS3? It sucks, you get 2 USB Ports, No SD/Memory Stick Slots and they've gotten rid of Backwards Compatibilty with PS2 Games, the PS3 to me is a big dissapointment.

Microsoft releasing their 360 a Year Earlyier and the Nintendo Wii re-inventing how games are Played has dealt a major blow to Sony I really think the PS3 is like the Sega Saturn, Powerful for its time, Did have Support from alot of Developers but flunked due to it was hard making games for it, Compared to making games for the Playstation or Nintendo 64 ( Which was a bit more Difficult for Developers too due to costs of the Cart and the Limited Space they had, but it didn't stop them in making great games ), Compare that to now, You have the Xbox 360 which has been said by heaps of Developers that its way Easier to make games for it than the PS3 although some complain about the Disk Space ( Which is BS in my opinion, If you could do a Massive game like San Andreas or FF12 on a 4GB Disk than you could produce way better stuff with Doulbe the Capacity ), Developers have had more Experiance with the 360 than both the Wii or PS3.

While the Wii has been a blast with Developers in making games for it, Although alot of Wii games look like PS2 Games even though it is more Powerful Dev's spend more time on the Gameplay than the Graphics which is a good thing but if the Wii can do better than the PS2 or Xbox in terms of Graphics than Developers should be spending more time of the games instead of Rushing them out to keep up with the Wii craze and raking in money ( Which they want anyways, but don't be Surprised if they end up getting Traded in in a few months ).

Japan and Japanese developers still have a lot of loyalty to the Playstation brand. It's just going to take a lot longer for them to complete projects for now.

Saturn had trouble cuz Japanese developers still had a choice then on what Japanese platform to develope. Now.... they don't have much of a choice.

PS3 will be fine, but for now.. not even an option to me.

There will always be loyalty to PS3. But thanks to their price and the rising remand in graphics, most developers have stopped being "exclusive" to just Sony and have been forced to branch off onto other systems just to turn a profit.

Don't hold your breath.
MGS4 will never go to the 360.
It's a 360 fanboy's fantasy.

Like the other MGS games coming to the original Xbox and how Kojima's said it's definately possible to port it over to the 360? :169:

It is possible to port it over to the 360 of course.
BUT
What you are missing is the fact that Kojima said himself it will be a PS3 exclusive. Keith, if you honestly believe that MGS4 will port over to the 360, you might want to follow MGS4 updates a little more closely

You might want to give this a read, Keith.
