Hyper Yo-Yo Burning! - Talk Up!

This week's episode had Izou popping up out of nowhere after Shou and Moeru had won one of the Cluster parts from crazy manga dude last week. Izou was blocking their way out of the dungeon place they were in and the only way out was a battle with the recently won part on the line. The two boys were pretty freaking tired after a heavy battle last week and...lost. Though, much to Moeru's surprise, Shou outlasted him in the battle.

The dude in white meets the two boys later on and tells them that they can get the part back if they grow exponentially in strength, so...more training time!

Elsewhere, we learn that Izou is working for someone, who has gotten tired of how long it's taken him to find the Legend Cluster parts and is going to take the one he just won by force.

Pretty awesome episode today. Izou pretty much broke from the guys that were hiring and is going solo to find the Legend Cluster parts for his own needs. At the same time, some monk guy that Moeru and Shou met in the previous episode turns into purple yo-yo energy and dives into Shou's yo-yo, giving up his life but powering up the yo-yo's energy.

Moeru is out looking for Izou and the two have a short battle that ends in a draw before Izou shows up at Shou's, wanting to take the newly revamped yo-yo. He eventually steals this super haxx yo-yo piece that the monk left behind and snaps it into his yo-yo just as Moeru shows up.

Shou does a simple energy swing that just knocks Izou on his ass and then all three are ready to battle until...

Izou breaks down screaming in pain. We then see the street merchant, the yo-yo master that hired Moeru and Shou and some guy in a dark cloak with a hidden face (!) talking ominously about the "real fire" that's about to begin.

Argh. If ever an episode needed a decent encode, it would be this one. Does anyone know anyone who would be willing to search for these episodes and upload them? It's gotten pretty incredible in the last couple of weeks and it seems like a much grander story is about to start.

And this show really kicked up the drama in this episode. We learn a lot more about Izou's past, seeing him working with Master Taylor before either Shou or Moeru. Izou had some pretty kickass potential that Taylor was trying to train properly, but at some point along the like, a rival group to the HYYA (the organization Taylor and the others work for) managed to seduce Izou away. They basically showed him that the HYYA would never be able to control the power of the Legend Cluster and make him believe Taylor has simply been using him the entire time. I was really surprised at how this episode went, there was next to no toy pimping at all.

Next time! It's a battle against the Legend Cluster parts they have formed so far. I kind of get the feeling the series might be gearing up to end, but I really hope it doesn't, I am loving this and want it to continue.

So encodes do exist...somewhere, they're just really hard to find.

Yeah, so I've missed like eight episodes thanks to being incredibly busy over the last two months but I'm back to watching the show!

...and I have no idea as to what the hell is going on. The arc with Izou seems to have been wrapped up and now the hooded guy seems to be employing random yo-yoers to capture people close to Moeru. Shou has been captured and a flamboyant guy named Aino Karito who specializes in a double yo yo style is beating people. A new character by the name of Yui has joined Moeru as part of the main cast, she seems to be helping him figure out how to do a double long sleeper. Izou is being mysterious as always and trying to find a way to save Shou.

So this is Sukeban deka except all boys...and everyone has a yo-yo.
If there's no helicopter getting taken down by a yo-yo I'll be disappointed.
