Hyper Yo-Yo Burning! - Talk Up!

Except it's a lot better than Sukeban Deka. :P

Interesting stuff going on now. There's a new opening, brand new this time rather than just the subtle change a few months ago. New visuals and they actually credit the cast and staff now, always thought it was weird that they didn't do that before.

This time we've got the discovery of something that could possibly be greater than the Legend Cluster, the Blaze Cluster. It's sort of the yin to the Legend Cluster's yang. Yui also goes off to try and make friends with Izou, who is still sort of just being emo after realizing that the only people who ever supported him in life were just using him for his talents. Seems like she has a bit of a crush on him.

Next episode looks...weird. Shou dressing up in bunny ears and dancing.

Episode 33 - Seize the Thunder Drake!

Not a lot of action going on in this episode, surprisingly enough. Mostly people talking about what it means to be a friend and junk. I've missed a few episodes, but it seems that Izou has completed the Legend Cluster. Once he managed to complete the yo-yo, he was sucked into this odd...white zone, alternate dimension sort of place where his current depressed self is battling it out with his old self, a much more optimistic Izou.

Towards the end of the episode, some random wacko in yellow appears before Moeru and Sho and challeneges them to a battle. The guy is able to summon some sort of Blue Dragon-ish familiar energy beast and proceeds to get ready to kick some ass.

Also, the Youtube uploader is currently at episode 26, hopefully he'll get the older episodes up as well.

And with today's episode, the first arc of the series finally comes to an end! Mr. Yo Yo managed to steal the Legend Cluster and it took the combined efforts of Shou, Izou, Yui, and Moeru two attempts and a really big dragon to finally defeat him. I thought this was the last episode at first because there was a pretty epic narration about how the characters defended the earth and everything in the end, but it seems not! Once they defeated Mr. Yo Yo, the building they were in started to explode, so they ran for it, but Mr. Yo Yo held onto the Legend Cluster in the end, and it seems like their search for it starts again next week, though not before the gang splits up for a while.

36 - The Spinner Neanderthals Appear!

And stuff happens this episode! We're shown that the gang has sort of gone their separate ways for a little while. Moeru is living it up enjoying life while everyone else is searching for the Legend Cluster. Izou's become a little manic about it since the thing had some incredible power and improved his outlook on life while he had it. Naturally, he wants it for himself.

Then some weird stuff happens when a tribe of ancient yo-yo using caveman come to life in the middle of the city. These guys are also looking for the Legend Cluster to help their king regain his power, so they might stick around for a while. There was a commercial for three new yo-yo models and, of course, the three cavemen are each wielding one of them.

Yui and Shou run into the king of the cavemen, who is out doing his part to find the Legend Cluster when he overhears them talking about it. He believes they have it or know where it is and challenges them to battle using his own weapon, the legendary (they love this word) Hyper Cluster!
