How would Disney adapt..."Kamen Rider Hibiki?" LMAO

If one were to adapt a tokusatsu show, I think Hibiki just might possibly be the worst choice. You'd end up filming so much original stuff because there's only ten seconds of suit stuff in each episode. Keep in mind we're adapting shows to save money on filming our own stuff here.

We'd have Shia LeBeouf as Hibiki, Ben Savage as Ibuki (promoting his endless Boy Meets World reruns for all of the Disney owned channels), Joey Lawrence as Zanki and Jonathan Lipnicki as Todoroki. With Tahj Mowry and Hilary Duff as Douji and Hime, who also have their own instruments. The disc animals also talk. Asumu is now a disc animal who dreams of being a real boy and, sadly, is still the show's focus, no matter how amazingly boring it is.

The goal of our heroes is no longer to purify the makamou into pieces with their sound, but get the makamou purified in order to join their bitchin' Kamen Rider & the Pussycats band!

EDIT: I really think, if you were to adapt Hibiki, it could only work as a satire. It's such a ludicrous piece of crap that the footage would work out in no other way than a comedy. The makamou would represent the crap pop and fake punk bands out there today, the Riders show up and play some good music to get rid of them. A fairy tale, really, because where is these good music these days?

That's creative...yet scary... :confused2

PS: Talking Disk Animals isn't such a bad thing...a talking Dragredder and Auto Vajin were good ideas...keep'em coming. :198:

I would love it if Disney or someone adapted KR for America again. We need Masked Rider to return now that PR is slowly rising once again.

Also, I wonder if LionGates or whoever is still adapting Gransazers. Cause I would love to see what an american adaption of Gransazers would be like.

So long as they make it Lost Galaxy or Time Force calibur, I'm all for adaptations.

It's like getting two shows for the price of one and more toys. Not to mention I dig kids playing Power Rangers and wouldn't mind some kid coming to the playground with a V-Buckle on saying, "Hey Power Rangers... let me introduce you to.... the Masked Rider!!!"

The kid does an arm swing thing and says, "Ecto Phase Transform!"

And next thing you know you got a neighborhood battalion of Riders and Rangers battling to save the world from imaginary monsters! :buttrock:

That's what it's all about for me... doesn't make a difference if the guy is Japanese or not, so long as the production is good and kids are having fun.

According to what I've heard Lion's Gate is releasing GS "AS IS" with optional dubs. TOHO's already been through the adaptation grind and they learned their lesson, they're not going to make the same mistake again.

Indeed, a grave mistake it is to be adapting shows. A mistake that Bandai has been suffering near 14 years of profit from to this date... I still don't think they've recovered from all the money they've made and all the children that have had a good time as a result. :170:

That being said, I hope they do a better job than Ultraman Tiga did and I hope it fairs better as well.
