Sou ka...... :170:

Should I ever return, any other bits and pieces of Japanese I might be able to use to wow them and show respect.

Yoshi LOVED my use of "Yosh." Fun guy! Drunk as hell, but damn fun guy!

I just hope you said it right... With a longer o. I've heard people mispronounce it, and it isn't pretty! :evil3:

I've seen too much Japanese programming to say that word wrong. I even did the "Yoshyoshyoshyosh!" version.

He thought that was pretty cool. :D

Unfortunately I heard most the rest of my friends had a terrible time.

Next time, say some uber polite things like:

"Sawannai-de!"
"Tottoto dete ike!"

And my personal favorite:

"Bukkoroshite yaru!"

Say it with a smile on your face, they'll love you.

Glad you had a good time Keith!! :) Who were the cute girls? ;)

IPAI OPAI!!! - BIG BOOBS!!! :P

HENSHIN!!! - TRANSFORM!!

and now for the sensible ones..

Ima Nanji desuka? - What time is it?

Gogo, 12.00 Desu - It is 12.00 at night

Anata wa KEITH JC HAYWARD desu ka? - Are you Keith JC Hayward

Hai, watashi wa KEITH JC HAYWARD desu - Yes, I am Keith JC Hayward

Iie, watashi wa MICHAEL JOE RED MASK desu - No, I am Michael Joe Red Mask

HENSHIN DA!!! - IT'S MORPHIN TIME!!!

A bowl of bukkake..

Who were the two cute Japanese girls... no clue, they have unique Japanese names that I've not heard before and could not retain in memory.

I'd like to see them again, but I doubt my friends'll ever go back to the Karaoke Kid again. :P

"How you know... JAPANESE!?!?!" the old bartender who looked like an old fat retired samurai who'd seen many trials and much joy in his life.

"I... watch a lot of your tv shows," I replied. "Mostly Japanese cartoons," I finished, making sure to enunciate my words as best as I could along with giving them a bit of a Japanese clip to them to make it as intelligable to them as possible.

"NOOOO!!! You must have... JAPANESE GIRLFRIEND to know so much Japanese!"

I bowed my head slightly and closed my eyes smiling bashfully and waving a hand saying, "Eee-aay... just tv."

They'd cheer everytime I used a Japanese word, and we'd often hold up our drinks to say, "KAMPAI!!!"

I wanna go again. :anime:

Okay, if you ever go to Japan I dare you to stand in front of a load of people, pull out a changer and go "Yoshi mina! Henshin da!/Change da!" :169:
