Henshin Justice Unlimited is looking for RPG Staff:

Ah... keep the discussion here.

She mentioned how this place needs a RPG moderator and I said you guys should discuss it. I'll choose based on who all comes up as potential RPG moderators and who you guys think would be best.

Honestly, Keith...I don't really think this forum is in need of a moderator.

Whenever someone makes a new RPG, he or she becomes like the mod of that thread...if someone acts up and the situation goes beyond their control...that's what the report button button is for. You recall my situation with Demetrivamp, Keith? That ended up going beyond my control, but I had Ragna step in and take care of it for me.

Also, letting a thread sink into the abyss is almost the same thing as letting a thread get locked. And I really think the old threads should remain where they are, even if inactive they make for good reads every now and then.

This is something I also agree on. This is mainly a case of "if it's not broken, don't fix it". Halifax Queen doesn't speak for all of us, and we've been going about things this same way up until now with no problems, so there isn't really a need, as DK said

I didn't think the questions were personal....anyways, Halifax I sent you a PM, as well as Keith.

I've always liked the idea of a graveyard for RPGs. If no one posts on them for a month then throw them in there. People can still read them and they don't get in the way. Then if the players come back and want to start it up again then it can be put right back where it was. I might be over simplifing things though....Also would this be an actual job or just an admin thing for someone with enough time.

That actually doesn't sound like a bad idea. Not something like "The Arch" where most memorable threads that lived out their lives go, but rather a "dumping" area to clean up the RPG section a little, so it's not cluttered. Also, they can be "locked", so they wouldn't be brought back up again UNLESS the owner of the RP asks for it.

It should be called the "Game Over" section, and like some video games with little taglines in it, put the words, "And they were never heard from again..." as the section's tagline.
