How does Shin Kamen Rider Spirits look like?

Same artist and everything, the title's just a rebranding for the new magazine which kicked off with an "intro chapter" to get readers acquainted with Rider 1 & 2 (it tells about their first meeting and Rider 2's origin) before continuing on with the ongoing story. The flashback chapter's also important since it features a few things which turn up again in the main story.

After some delay, I was able to write the 3rd part of the Nine Worlds Saga Review for my Kamen Rider Decade Complete Review. Ah. Writing this was a stress reliever!

ut according to Igadevil’s spoiler-filled review of the last Den-O film this year, Kamen Rider X Kamen Rider X Kamen Rider the Movie: Cho Den-O Trilogy – Episode Yellow: The Treasure of DiEnd Pirates is seems that Den-O has broke the thin line between AU and OU.

Kabuto

In addition, what emphasizes the strong sense of family in the series is that Tendo always quote words of wisdom from his grandmother. In this arc, we are introduced to Tendo’s grandma… and she turned out to be she is a badass grandma.

Hibiki

One of the best things in this arc is that all the original actors, minus Hibiki and Asumu returned. My dear Akira is back! Oh, Akira you are still hot and badass at the same time. I think I should stop acting like a Nana Akiyama fanboy.

The Japanese Wikipedia article for Ryuki says something about Hiroshi Fujioka speaking out against the show. Since it's Wikipedia, does anyone know if that's true -- and if so, what he said exactly?

It would be good for the next time this discussion pops up:

"Ouja's super-cool! He's a good fighter, that's why he deserves to be called Kamen Rider! Who cares if Yasuko Kobayashi never saw Kamen Rider, and wouldn't know a Kamen Rider if it sat on her face and farted -- Ryuki rocks!"

Hongo's just sad he was really only mentioned once in the entire Heisei Kamen Rider era up to this point.

I dunno, Ryuki is probably second only to Hibiki as the show with the most crazy rumors surrounding it, so I'd be surprised if it's true or not at least trumped up to sound worse than it is. I'd swear reading back in 2002 that even Ishinomori's widow (the one nobody can ever seem to name) blasted Ryuki, and the producer/director/writer (depending on who you asked) said it would "tear down Kamen Rider". And then there's how it was supposed to be cancelled early, how its toy sales tanked and ruined Bandai (!) etc. Sometimes you've gotta hate fandom.

I know that some of the actors have a joking mock-disdain for each others' Riders (but are actually on good terms) but I've never heard of any outright criticism.

Actually, I read a translated interview with Kobayashi or someone related to the production on Ryuki that it was meant to end earlier than they had expected, and that Episode Final (which was maybe why it was called that) was meant to be the original ending to the series. Luckily, somehow they finished.

Don't quote me on this though.

Decided to go back and start from the start of the Heisei era of Kamen Rider, but couldn't find Kuuga or Agito, so I've grabbed Ryuki.

Am I doing myself a disjustice by watching Ryuki before the others?

Should I just look harder?

Agito is very easy to find subbed. Though you could watch it alongside Ryuki and contrast the two.

Yeah only episode 51 of Agito has gone missing :disappoin. Weird it used to be all on Veoh, I guess it got deleted...
