DaiBouken is, off course, frickin' ugly. That doesn't change no matter what the scale its at.

Bouken mechas SUCK!!!

saaad :( daibouken is my fav :(((((( i have the mini toycandy size on my desk at home :(

annnnd gogo dump always manages to get a laugh out me

What's annoying with the Bouken mechas is how USELESS to the combination the vehicle controlled by blue (GoGo Gyro and GoGo Fighter I think?) are! I mean Gyro only really provides a helmet, for Super DaiBouken and Ultimate DaiBouken it keeps getting shifted around and is really just a piece of decorating armor. They could lose it and still be able to do the combination.

Same with GoGo Fighter. Altough all the pieces of DaiVoyager are so obviously meant to combine into a mecha and have no purposes apart... you gotta wonder why they just didn't make it a huge transforming ship like the oldschool robos. Now THAT would have been neat. It would still have been one more DX toy to sell.

Ultimate Daibouken was the birth of the clusterfucks.

The best Clusterfuck so far was EngineOh G12 IMO

It wasn't add-on after add-on after add-on. Every single part of that Mecha was a character and was correctly explained and introduced in the show. The thing about them being characters was that even though some combinations were hardly used, you'd still see the mecha taking part in the group discussions and taking part in the quest to take down the Gaiark.
Having so many mecha in this show was understandable and things weren't just left to rot in the corner after it's debut.

(Well, maybe except Go-Roader GT)

Carrygator was a pointless character. The frigging FEET?! GTFO.

BTW, Great Five's average. Plus the Land Galaxy is the lamest mecha of the 80's. They lose points for that.

I don't think Sentai's had a decent looking mecha since Time Robo Alpha. Gaoranger started that whole fugly making a whole animal a body part thing, and then it became the clusterfooks.

Land Galaxy's cool! Live Boxer's the lamest of the '80s mecha, IMO. Goggle Robo's pretty dumb looking, too.
