Thanks guys I'll start a thread for it tonight. I know people who like Korean music etc, but no Tokusatsu fans in my city. (Well except for the lady at the bookstore who does my special orders. I was shocked when she knew Shinkenger, but she says her friend is a fan )

Yeah, I've distanced myself from Kpop lately. The fandom is so vicious and it's all getting a bit samey. I just like to listen and go to the odd concert now.

It's just edited re-dubs of the original series usually. We just finished Engine Sentai Go Onger (Retitled Power Rangers Engine Force.) and we're now on a second reissue of Gaoranger (Power Rangers Jungle Force.)

In terms of Kamen Rider Kiva just finished (retitled Kamen Rider Kiva DX.) I don't watch it since I don't have a television, but I did see some re-runs of Boukenger (PR Treasure Force.) and the dub was pretty lulzy.

They also rename the characters some funny things. Engine Force's dub names are so random;

Saki = Sunni. (So cute!)
Sosuke = Maha ()
Renn = Renn.
Hant = Jyo. (Makes sense.)
Hiroto = Hiro.
Miu = Mio.

Gunpei = .......Alex. (WTH?)

I wish there were some homegrown series too. My main draw is that we get all the merchandize cheaply Thank you Bandai Korea!

Yeah, that fandom is spreading like a virus here. We don't get a lot of good Bandai merchandise. We have to go through a middleman service... You guys get the best stuff except for being a few miles from Kim Jung-Il.

I've been here so long that I don't really think about it much. (The whole NK issue.) I could get hit by a bus any time so I prefer focusing on more pleasant things

I'm hoping to do some competitions or something with a few Tokusatsu prizes from time to time. It would be nice to be able to hook people who otherwise couldn't get it up with some small pieces of merchandize.

Also I stand corrected upon the lack of Korean Tokusatsu - apparently there was a series called Erexion (brb laughing forever.) It's on YT so I'm watching it now.

Was that show ever uploaded in its entirety? I know some group started subbing it...after we all got done giggling about the name...and then just sorta blipped off the map after an episode or two.
