has anyone cried during a Toku

Nah...

Well...:hmm:

Nah..

Actually yea, in the last episode of Jetman. I almost shed a tear...but i'm too manly for that..so it didn't shed..

Let's see:
I cried at the end of Den-O when the Taros Bros died ( Until they showed that the Taros Bros WEREN'T Dead ( Onore Toei))

I cried when Mio died in Kiva

I cried when Otoya died in Kiva

I cried when Phillp died in W ( until they show he was alive ( Onore Toei...again))

I cried when Sasword died in Kabuto

I cried when Dark Kabuto killed himself to destroy ZECT

I cried when Blade became the next Joker and ran away to save Chalice from doom

I cried when 7 and the other Phone Bravers died at the end of Keitai Sousaken 7

I cried Teddy died in Episode Blue ( Until they show he wasn't dead ( ONORE TOEI)

I cried when Deacde died in Movie Wars 2010 ( not gonna say it this time)

So, yeah I cried ALOT when I watch Toku

I love hero stories and I love the way a good tokusatsu tells them. They can be awesome as well as moving. The stories are told in a very spirited and emotional way which is something I greatly appreciate about the Japanese style to doing superhero stories.

A moment for me that has always been a combination of the two is Godai's fight in the burning church from episode 2 of Kamen Rider Kuuga where after seeing the girl crying over the loss of her father it strikes him to his core so much that he declares that he will fight to protect peoples smiles and that unlocks the power of red Mighty Form.

That was one of those where it sorta tugged at the ol' heart-strings pretty hard while simultaneously making me go :buttrock:.
