Hancock > ALL

Yeah, I felt the twist was really unnecessary and tried to change the movie into something it wasn't. All the audience really wanted was just a fun summer blockbuster and thats what the trailers marketed it to be. The movie would've probably done a lot more business if it hadn't gone that route.

So I finally got around to watching Hancock today, and I'm really glad I did. For some reason this film's been screaming "Buy me!" at me from the DVD racks, but I decided to rent it first...had I decided to buy it I wouldn't have been disappointed. Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman do a fantastic job (which isn't really a surprise for any of them), the film is well put together and paced, and the ending is incredibly friggin' intense. If you haven't seen it yet, I'd recommend it.

This was a pretty good movie. Not as good as I expected, but still good. Jason Bateman was perfect in this role. I like the idea of the twist having to do with Charlize's character, but I thought they went a bit overboard with her crazy powers when she got pissed. It was like Storm on crack, lol. Other than that it was entertaining from start to finish. I would like them to make a sequel but keep it a little more focused and give Hancock a more defined reason to be doing what he's doing (perhaps at this point, to protect Bateman's character and his family, or maybe a new love interest would work as well.)

I recently got the opportunity to have this unfortunate wreck forced upon me, and I can say in all honesty that it's one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. The story was predictable, boring, utilitarian, family-friendly garbage with almost nothing new to offer, and they even ruined the "twist" on the back of the fucking box. Plus, it gets the award for worst villain ever, ever, ever, to be in a movie, ever. Ever. Will Smith was actually the best thing about the movie which is extremely sad. Pass and never look back.

I rented it ... it was not what I expected it to be looking at the trailers I thought it was just a humor SH flick like others have said but its so far from humor its almost shocking :D

I almost turned it off to tell the truth when he threw the girl off him and he cummed through the roof ... wtf....lol one part that should have been left out of the uncut version imo :S
