Hanamaru Kindergarten

Ep.3 Subbed

The third episode kinda reminds me of Kimi ni Todoke, or at least parts like the love triangle, an extremely nice but clueless female lead, and that relaxing ED.

It's a good thing Tsuchi had enough sense to not eat that food. Since he cares for kids his death in the middle of a kindergarten would cause psychological trauma that would mess those kids up for years. Although not sure if it was right to let Anzu taste it, after all should try to protect her from herself.

Here's a little Easter Egg from ep.3, pointed out on 2channel: Yui and Azu-nyan from K-On! outside the (huge) izakaya (bar/restaurant) where Tsuchi and the other two teachers had their conversation.

Just finished watching episode 4. Things went a little old school today. From Lum appearing in the first part of the episode to Hiiragi dressing up as one of the Gatchaman in the ED. The first part of the episode was hilarious with how all the parts of a "date" were mimicked in the best available method. Apparently you can see Saturn from the Earth, and Koume's role as the "shooting star" was cute.

The ED this week was handled by Anzu, and was a very fun tune. The title of it is "Hatsudou!! Love Beam"

Ep.4 Subbed

[Reimon]

Episode 4 really shows Yamamoto having the sensitivity, sweetness, and incredible patience to make a wonderful parent. She really cares for Anzu, letting Anzu be Anzu without any harsh words or actions. I can't imagine an unkind bone in Yamamoto's body. Sure Yamamoto may be seeing the world through rose-tinted glasses, but her heart is definitely in the right place. Now if she could only see into Tsuchi's soul.

I have to say the older Hii was pretty cute. The girl has a bright future with that level of intelligence and looks to go with it.
