The beginning of this movie was fucking amazing until they took off her suit. The fight was a lot more interesting with the suit on but heaven fucking forbid we leave it on. We know its a woman so we have to take it off all the time now. ugh. Im a fan of MC+Samus being together but with MC being a guy of course.

Overall, pretty damn amazing video. That's pretty much how the actual fight might go down in the beginning. Damn good use of Samus' special abilities and MC's drive to win a fight using any methods.

Second, that wasn't Master Chief. It never says Master Chief. We clearly know it's Nicole from DEAD OR ALIVE 4. Nicole, you remember. The FEMALE Spartan?

You... what? Do you understand the STUPID amount of work that has gone into it? At least like it for the fact that animating is damn fucking hard.

Seeing as I've done and been trained in animation, Yes... yes I do. Once I'm done with school I'll also BE an animator. Just because the guy put a rediculous amount of work into it doesn't make it good.

The only point of that movie was to attract attention. The guy said so himself. ...also it's not the animation I don't like... I can appreciate his animation. It's everything else I can't stand.

1-NO creativity. Except for the sheild/rifle trick, and some of the MC vs Samus bits, ever single bit of that flick was ripped off of someone else's work. Alot of it were coreography taken DIRECTLY from matrix reloaded.

2-Poor Pacing. The scenes were all way too fast. I realise that he was trying to do ALOT of stuff and keep it in time with the music, but he should have picked better music then. Everything is way to frantic and too hyper. It makes the whole thing look REALLY amateur. I know he is amateur.... but you don't want to look amateur... I mean come on.

3-Bad music. DON'T USE MATRIX MUSIC. The stuff at the begining and end are fine... everything in the middle is terrible. It's cliched and doesn't work with whats going on in the scene.

4-Terrible Story. I don't care if it's Nicole or whoever... He clearly implies throughout the begining that it's Master Cheif. To suddenly have the suit open and it's nicole inside is just rediculous and stupid. Plus the whole lesbian thing is just dumb. I mean seriously... they had only met like 2 minutes earlier and had been trying to kill each other, and suddenly they're making out?

5-This was a sell-out movie. He only made this movie because a)Halo is popular, and b)Metroid is popular, and c)a versus movie would be really popular. He's basically said as much himself.

Anyway, that could have been a good movie. If he had focused more on the MC vs Samus part(which is the good part of the movie), had gotten better music, and slowed things down, it would have been alot better.

Right now however I find that the whole thing is largely a piece of dren.

Well... whatever, the rest of the internet seems to like it.

Well I didnt know that. I never played DoA 4 (except for at the game store, I played the drunken guy character and he had a retarded ending. But that's beside the point.)

I've only played the Halo games so how was I supposed to know that this is not MC? That kind of lessens the "kewlness" factor of the movie though. It should be MC vs Samus. No one else.

I completely agree. Hey, I'm a guy that loves a cute lesbian couple as much as the next. But this pairing felt so forced that it was just a blatant "fan wank", and that ultimately just turns me off. Personally, I prefer Samus as a bad ass Bounty Hunter clad in ancient chozo armor. I hate seeing her revealed with breasts bouncing around. That's just me though. Just me.

This one for example is one he thinks is a 'failure'. This guy obviously has talent, he just dropped the ball on the haloid movie.

He's got a neato deviant art page too, where he does all sorts of character designs and photo-realistic 'shop art.

totally agreed but the shield and rifle trick was nice.The lil turn off was the lesbian endin and the matrix theme playin in the back...as if MATRIX invented BATTLE THEMES!!!!!And the video is too.....DBZ-ish.....if u knwo what i mean,and finally well its suppose to be MC vs Samus,and yet ....theire wasnt enought of THAT.(sigh)Except those thing great GREAT UBER video

Okay, I don't know much about animation and etc...I'm far from any expert but when my boyfriend sent me the link to that video I thought it was really cool. I really enjoyed the fighting and thought it was really well done. I also see nothing wrong with using Matrix music but that's all a matter of personal preference. Honestly, I can't even begin to comprehend how much work must have gone into that. Kudos to the creator either way, if for nothing else but the work put into it!

Then again, like I said, I don't know much. I mean I only found out Samus was a woman like...a few months ago. I only ever knew of Samus from Super Smash bros. I was deprived of Nintendo until the N64 and only got into some games. *hides in shame*

So what if it takes hard work, if its bad then its bad. The only reason people might like this is because it had the cheap ass matrix fight, it has two very popular franchise which the fan boys eat up, and lesbians which is just there so it can get more people to watch the video. Its unoriginal and proves that people will watch crap.
