I'm still waiting on additional feedback from critics before I consider watching because I have serious trust issues with movies and TV Adaptations of Games. The only one I believe is Good is The Witcher.

Much respect. A lot of these adaptations can be hit or miss, usually miss. Some are ok, but only if you're willing to forgive straying from the mythology of whatever it is you're watching.

One of the episodes was shown to me by my friend with Paramount Plus. I would have assumed it was a Star Trek spin-off if it hadn't been for the title and a master chief cosplayer. Whatever you want to say, the program is gritty and grim, which I believe is appropriate for Halo.

I enjoy how they're putting the pedal to the metal while also showing gore.
However, Canon Obsessed fans should know that this show takes far too many freedoms from the plot. People who never played the games will enjoy the show.

I can't express an opinion yet about the first two episodes I have watched. It is different from the games because they show Master Chief's face, but it is understandable because, in the game, we are supposed to be Master Chief, while on the show, there is a need for a face.

It felt weird that I could see his face in this series, but it made him more human.

Video Game story telling is hard to translate to tv and movies. The changes they did made the show more palatable to casuals who are the majority. Get over it gamers!
