You know, this is an MMO that I'd actually try. And if it was on the 360... that would be a guaranteed purchase.

Yeah, I have a hard time picturing "Halo", "MMO", and "Good" all at the same time... Just sounds like a bad spinoff idea to me.

I'm sure it would've sold like mad though.

What do you expect? With the Halo series finished, they gotta find other ways to milk the series :rolleyes2:

Cuz no successful franchise does that.... *cough*Final Fantasy*cough*

Personally, I could see it done quite well and easily. Customize your own HALO character from Spartan, Soldier, Elite or Cortana Unit.... and run missions across the galaxy Phantasy Star Online style racking up experience equipment and running missions with friends.

That is one MMO I'd actually play.

By the Matrix!

Now THIS is a MMORPG I'd play! I just hope they keep these assets and are using them on the other HALO games being worked on!

But both "Halo" and "Good" can not possibly fit in the same sentence.

Depends on your perspective, Halo is a Solid shooter, but what makes it a good shooter is multiplayer. And even if it wasn't a good shooter on a quality basis, it would still be fun regardless. Unless your some kind of dickhead that makes movie reviews on Rotten Tomatos, fun always supersedes being good or not. Now if you are the kind of person that plays a shooter solely for single player, well first off why would you do such a thing, second off Halo isn't for you as simple as that.

Personally I would not play a Halo MMO, Bungie made three solid games and that should be the end of it. But it is naive to think that Microsoft will stop spewing out Halo spin offs for one of the most successful franchises in recent gaming history.

Why should they stop at three solid games? They've created a universe now that is loved by many. That's like saying Star Wars should have stopped at three and not done anything else.
