The virtual reality scene has been steadily dipping its toes into a variety of genres that many only believed traditional gaming would ever touch. However, with this upcoming VR MMORPG, that stigma may soon break. The Kickstarter for Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist ends their Kickstarter with their stretch goals reached! Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist was made to be a social experience, that uses RPG combat in a fantasy world to have fun with friends. You can engage in combat, crawl through dungeons, or just hang with your pals, all within a VR landscape. I like the concept, but I am careful with Kickstarter games. Many of them promise too much and struggle to deliver. The $171,000 funding is nice, but making a massive VR MMORPG will require far more money and time. The new art director is impressive, but good art will not save a game if the core gameplay is weak. I hope they keep their focus on making sure the multiplayer works smoothly and that the servers can handle many players.

I just want a VR game where I can meet people and not get bored. This sounds like it could be that. The zones, customization, and crafting all sound good. I hope they have a lot of casual activities, not just hardcore raids.

I like that there will be PvP and endgame dungeons. I want to know more about how balanced the combat will be if every character can level all classes. It could be interesting, but it also risks making certain builds overpowered. I hope they test it well before release.
