I keep thinking that the Bear Acguy is actually some fan design...but no...it's an offical design by Bandai.

Either they're all complete idiots who don't realize how everyone on the internet is going to look at this (myself included) or they did it intentionally.

BTW, here's trailer 2.

(I would totally play that if it was real though :sweat

"Acguy is a teddy bear" is actually a really old Gundam fandom meme. Like, so old it predates the Internet and goes back to the fanzine era of Gundam fandom.

I just love Kunio Okawara designs. This guy seems to be a strange mixture of UC and CE aspects that still has nice overall feel.

Tomino's kinda hard to read that way, actually.

If he even gives two rats behinds about this kind of thing anymore, he could either be disgusted or have a grudging respect for their toyetic honesty.

I love how Kunio Okawara has been drawning that exact same head for 30 years now.

Have to love the overkill.

It's a Beam Recorder... Awesome.

Woooooooooowwwww...

A Beam...Recorder....I don't know whether to be amazed or feel trolled. Probably both.

(Why is Bear Acguy wearing a kindergartner's backpack?)

I said that because he hated when the toy companies tried to dictate his seasons. That's why from 94-98 he didn't produce a series (IIRC)
