Yeah the ending sequence totally made the atmosphere take a complete 180.
I'm so glad that Sei can now control better. With a character description like his, it's very easy to make him a Yugi Moutou type character where he's totally dependent on someone else to do all the fighting for him.
I like that the relationship is symbiotic: they lean off one another but neither is totally dependent on the other.
Also I'm hoping Bandai releases model kits of those Gunpla that we saw in this episode. I would totally love a Crossbone Gundam Maoh and Wing Gundam Fennice Linacita

I agree wholeheartedly. I actually had a bit of a problem during the episode that Reiji build his Beginning Gundam because it unbalanced the partnership a bit (though it was lessen by him saying that is no where near as good as Sei's builds). This fits it completely.
And a plus is that Build Mk-II finally had a chance to shiny in the show.
