the series was awesome, GINO (or Zilla) was starting to evolve into Godzilla, i hear that people who bashed the movie accepted the series, and i was one of them, i still wish they could continue it.

Same here, the cartoon was ten time better than the movie (and I like the movie... as an adventure comedy).

A lot of people actually praised the cartoon especially for the series paying homage to much of the Showa series as well as 50s Creature Features.

You know the series is paying homage when you have a character named after the Godzilla composer and the protagonist saying "Destroy All Monsters"...:laugh:
