Dudettes.. honestly, I've just been reading about all this damn drama about "ONLY GIRLS" and I am truly having a "what the ****?" moment.

:/ What's the freaking big deal that a guy wants to come here to talk about girly things? If a guy wants to talk about nail polish, who the **** are some girls to judge that he "DOESN'T BELONG BECAUSE HE HAS A PENIS."

Admittedly, I personally don't have anything against guys who post on here when they're contributing to the discussion.

However, I completely understand the reasons why it's strict and have nothing against that either.

I personally felt really turned off when we received the comments during our fun Viewing Globe discussion that it may be better to just be strict against all guys as suppose to simply picking and choosing who gets to post and who doesn't.

As long as we can create a thread that's welcoming and comfortable for us without the fear of some dude wanting to put his two cents in just to be dick or think that he may understand better than we do, then that's fine.

Um, no, we're not doing this. As long as they aren't trolling the thread, they're free to reply. It's contradictory to the "everyone's included" mindset HJU was founded on. I've been repulsed by a lot of posts found on HJU as well and if you want to start a thread where it's made clear the sort of things that will be discussed in it, go for it, but it's not your place to tell other members they can't post especially when their posts aren't doing anything to break the chain of conversation.

We've got a report function for a reason, if there's a trolling post that bothers you, report it and it and the member will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
