Now that I think about it, that was REALLY stalker-ish of me. I'm glad I grew out of that. Now, whenever I see a cute girl, I just think, she's hot, and keep it moving.

I was in a shitty situation that's winding down now that inspired me to come up with a list of conditions under which you've crossed the line into being a stalker. Some of them are kind of specific, but one thing applies pretty generally I'd say (and naturally it's from a male perspective, on account of my being a batch of concentrated testosterone):

1. If you have information about a girl that she or one of her friends hasn't volunteered, you're stalking her. You could also say that any kind of "independent research" is stalking.

If you're not doing that, you aren't stalking. You're just human.
