Gingaman is definitely underrated Sentai series!

That's the point. It's a folk song about loving nature for the Super Sentai theme that's about an earthy culture that loves nature.

It reminds me more of Yoshida Takurou, but he's only a big folk singer in Japan.

Yeah, and it is still terrible. A terrible song is terrible regardless of what it is about.

Shougo, I just don't like slow music. I like fast, upbeat, mechanical sounding, gothic, blues, classical, and other sounds, but I absolutely positively abhore slow music, rap, and country.

Just finished 15. That's all the subbed ones. I don't care what anyone says, this show is really really enjoyable. Like fang said, it really is underrated. I like the BGM, and the theme is ADDICTING. But I knew that before I gave the show another chance. I can't wait for HnT, I'm finishing this RAW.

Can't beleive I almost bought into all the rumors, and negativity towards this series.

When I go awhile without watching a show, I get into a slump and then the eps keep building up, but I never get to them.

So how does HnT work? Are they an every week thing? Or We'll give it to you whenever the fck we want types?

Ehhh...the gist is worthless. If I'm going to do that, I can just read a Wikipedia Episode Description. Same thing. Without knowing what the conflict is, why it matters, and just what epicly heroic thing was said, Toku is pointless to me.

That's exactly what I do when watching raws, and it doesn't affect my appreciation of the material at all. How can you not know what the conflict is if you just said you read the info on Wiki or some other site? Reading about the characters tells you why it matters. When you watch enough subs you pick up certain words or expressions that make watching the raws a bit easier. Plus there is just simple reasoning skills when it comes to body language, emotions, and the like.

Subs are obviously preferable to raws. But the sad reality is most of these older shows aren't going to be subbed, or at least not as quickly as most newer shows are. So unless you want to hold out for some subbing group and thus miss some great entries in the genre, the only thing to do is suck it up and use Wiki, supersentai.com, Shougo's or Basri's sites, and so on as your guides. I would never have experienced any Metal Hero (especially Spielban and Metalder) or some of the Sentais that are held in high regard had I kept waiting for a fansubber that might never come.

How would a song in a genre you liked be more appropriate for expressing the show's themes?
