Finished up Kakuranger and I plan on starting Carranger sometime during the week. I know this is a parody Sentai and I heard it's pretty damn good. Without spoilers, what can I expect from it?. I also plan on seeing what was used and left out of Turbo.

Also, anyone know where I am able to find an episode guide?.

::Laughs:: This series will make you, if you can see all the spoofs and parodies it has, laugh till you cry. I did. Seriously, this is a prime example of what Sentai could be when it doesn't take itself seriously. Hmm, I began and ended a sentence with "seriously." That's a bad sentence. Oh well, you know what I mean.

Definitely one of my faves. :laugh:

EDIT: You'll also know why PR Turbo so did not live up to expectations. Two VERY different shows.

An instant classic, hard to believe it will be 10 years old next year. I don't even get half of the anime spoofs (some had to be pointed out to me), but the tokusatsu ones are obvious if you've seen enough. No Car spoof is as classic as villainess Zonette falling in love with Red Racer, but despising Kyousuke -- something that Magiranger is trying to play seriously!

At least you're going into the show with the knowledge it's a parody. And for a parody, Carranger actually has a sort of touching and cool finale, IMO. Just a cool and fun show, with some pretty nice action.

I've been hearing about this Red Racer / Zonette romance. Could this have been taken and used in PRiS for the Astronema/Zhane romance?.

I just checked Zonette's part of the Carranger entry at Sentai Sanctorum and it looks like there's some truth to it, but exactly how much, we can only guess at.

Green ate an electrical Eel? O_O. Anyway, Car ranger seems cool judgeing from Mega vs. Car that I downloaded. oh, without even know the guy, Blue Racer owns Justin.

What was funny about that is he became extremely cocky after conquering his fear, dashing off into fight taking care of everyone, posing ahead of the others (and over-posing).

Green Racer was my favorite of the team. Besides that, he has a classic episode where he loses Accel Changer by posing and the episode where he mailed the team's cannon to an old woman by mistake (confusing the box it was in with her order). The woman's grandson is playing with the cannon, so Minoru and Signalman perform a two-man comedy routine to distract him...

I can't believe PR used Zokuranger...:nono: Oh, the huge laughs I got from that episode when I first saw it...

Not to mention how they get their weapons, which are slipping my mind at the moment. But oh gosh...it comes...I won't spoil, but geez, it's frigging hilarious and very practical if you think about it. So is their first gattai. hahaha. ::laughs from the memory of it::

BlueRacer uses that archaic, "gozarimasu desu" which is hilarious. But anyways, watch it. You won't be dissapointed ^^

RedRacer and Zonette...classic classic classic.

And considering how fun the series is, they tackle some serious issues in a lighthearted, but significant manner. Not to mention the action; at times, it's rougher than other sentai series.

So I take it the Zokuranger were used alot more than just 1 episodes like in Turbo?.

Episode 1 was marvellous. I noticed when each character was introduced they used the same type of intro like you'd see in an anime show.

The Dappu "death" scene was marvellous. I swear, as soon as Kyousuke screamed "DAPPU" I knew some asses were gonna be beaten down.

Some of the Carranger weaponary was never shown in Turbo. I like those Blades alot.

The SS Saloon or BB Saloon or whatever it is called just rocks. Reminds me of the Catina bar from Star Wars.

Red Racer suit = the shizz3l.
