Gas Explosion on my Block

I was walking my dog when it happened, I was about three house away, I've never seen anything like it in my life I'm lucky I didn't get hit with any glass and older woman who was also out walking got hit by a piece but wasn't cut luckily.

Holy crap, I'm glad that your okay. That explosion must've been huge from where you were!! I hope you called 911 after that.

is the old lady alright?

She was okay just shook up a bit, and one of the other neighbors already called 911. The response time was amazing, we live a block from the fire department so they probably heard it as well.

The people who lived there actually moved out a few days ago, so thankfully nobody was there.

It was pretty wicked, It felt like being at a concert up in the first row when the pyrotechnics go off, with the rush of heat and air, but with some debris and a lot more Klablamo with it. My dad (Who is a retired fire fighter) said it's definitely minor compared to some gas explosions he's seen. He wasn't standing three houses away when it happened though. :O_O:
