There was one in Toronto mid last year, I was working a night shift and it was about 3am and as I was patrolling the permiters the ground literally shook.

I thought either a bomb has went off or Godzilla came up North.

I remember hearing about that in the news, it was one of those really huge propane tanks that exploded at a gas station. The whole neighborhood was evacuated I think, because there were chemicals in the air and stuff.

Ya man that's the one. The ground fucking shook, it was fucked. For a second there I thought a giant Goldar or some **** would show up.

Thankfully nobody was seriously injured.

We had some news people around, but they didn't really show up until the fire was out. They still have police outside, all the fire trucks and stuff are gone. The whole side of the house was blown off, I'm glad I was on the side that didn't blow out when it happened. Exciting day though, it's pretty quiet around here usually, so it was funny to see all the neighbors out like that through the day.

If it were a gas station explosion and I was standing three houses away, I don't think I'd be here right now. :laugh:

It was apparently from a build up of natural gas, not further explanation then that yet. The neighbors were complaining of smelling gas (Really the agent they put in it to make it smell) for a couple weeks. They kept calling the gas company to come check, when they probably should have been calling 911. The gas company people were crawling over the neighborhood checking for anymore leaks. Lucky for all of us it was an isolated leak to that home.
