Over and over, the Crimzon Clover series of shmups has been entertaining its fans for years. Now the new entry is about to arrive in the form of Crimzon Clover – World EXplosion for Nintendo Switch. It’s a worldwide launch, hitting Japanese, North American and PAL markets at the same time.
If you’re new to the series, World EXplosion is an excellent entry point, but try not to get overwhelmed by the abundance of options. You have three versions of the game to start with: ARCADE, the original unaltered version, ARRANGE, a completely rearranged and reinvented version of the game for those who have played the arcade version to death, and NOVICE, for those who haven’t played at all. From there you pick from five modes: BOOST, ORIGINAL, UNLIMITED, and TIME ATTACK.
