Ganbaride Cards

the cards in ur picture, individually can cost around 1000-2000 yen. 85% of the cost is from those cards and also the legendary cards. even the cheapest place i've seen in japan for that set cost that much so don't feel bad. hell, i don't even have them, haha.

but i do have set 6,7,8 and 9. just missing a few cards here and there. i can't wait for set 10 though. god, i'm gonna be spending a lot of money at the arcade, haha.

So, LR (5 stars) stands for Legendary Rare? I still don't know what it stands for until today...

Btw, I got part 9 (52 N,R,SP + 4 SR Den-O) for only 1500 yen... Super duper cheap, IMO... :)

Part 10 is awesome... If I got chance, i'll be probably sitting down next to u playing the ganbaride game... LOL

That's like...playing with a DienDriver...

Yeap more or less... Just calling the card type... then that's it...

But the sound effect for any W cards is even worse than that...

73 cards?

A friend of mine got the set of the 10 Final Attack Ride (holo) cards for Y8,000.

http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f85438630

Did you get your 10 Final Attack Rider (holo) cards + 63 other cards for Y13,500?

Yeap... all 73 cards from part 4, including SR and LR cards...

Would definitely prefer 10 cards for 8000 yen...

As the 10 cards are my main primary focus....

Yeah, I knew W cards wouldn't work.

Can it say "Kaixa" or "Ixa" or "Knight"? Or would it just say the series Rider's name?

Sadly enough, for all attack ride cards, the decadriver is only programmed to call the main riders (of heisei era) only....

Kaixa, Ixa, Knight, Zeronos are not programmed such way... It will just call the card name only, like "Atakku Raido" => Attack Ride....

and W probably hadn't come into picture when decadriver was developed...

anyways, in the end, this game is more about card collecting than really playing the actual game.

Yeah, I personally couldn't care less about the Ganbaride game itself.

I'm not even much of a gamer so if I play the game, it's solely to get the cards. I'm not a completist either and tend to want only my favorite Riders or in the case of Dice-O, Sentai Senshi and Mechas. It's all about the cards I want from each set and that makes me extra picky. Thinking about it, shops or online places is a better option for buying such cards. I hate randomness and uncertainty, so this would prevent me from wasting a whole lot of $$$ on doubles or cards I don't want. I'd rather get the card I want for a bit more $$$ than just crossing fingers and end up wasting so much more $$$ on doubles, etc. until I get the card... if I even get it in the end.

And I never knew about the "buy cards" option. I thought you had to play the game in order to get cards... thank you for the great post. Very informative. Been waiting for someone to post something like that.

Is Dice-O similar to that Ganbaride explanation as well?

I initially thought you only got the 10 cards for Y13,500, but after re-reading your post, you got the extra 63 cards for only Y5,500, still not bad.

Ganbaride and Dice-O are both similar in nature, card games under datacarddass of Bandai-Namco.

List of all other games: Tamagotchi, Daikaijyu (Ultraman), Fudanin (Naruto), Precure-Live, Animal Kaiser, One Piece.

Full Card Lists are available here: http://www.carddas.com/cardlist/datacarddass.html

There are many ways to get the cards... Most common one will be thru arcade machine....

Each turn you play, you will get 1 random card in the end of the game...

You can also get the cards from McDonalds promo, 7-11 promo, Decade x W movie promo, Toku magazine freebies, Toys (DX Decadriver/Diend Driver) freebies, Soft-vinyl figure, Book and other merchandise, Candy/Chocolate, Apparel, Ganbaride binder and few other more (that I may miss from the list)...

Yeah, the picture post was a little misleading... hehe...

Well, I would prefer to get only 10 FAR cards at 8000 yen, if there is such available....

I was just poking that listing for fun, and ended up winning the listing...

After second thought, I think it's still worth it... Will have to sell those N/R/SP cards, since I already have them...

Just too bad that Dice-O cards don't work in the DecaDriver. :disappoin
That would've been epic...

Yes, I'm already aware of all the possible places to get cards.

It's just the machine stuff and how it works that I'm not as familiar with...

dice-o is kind of similar but yet, it's totally different. up till now, all the carddass card games i've seen, i think one-piece has the best one.

to explain about the cards rarity...

1) normal
2) rare
3) special
4) super rare
5) legendary

from 1 star to 5 stars.

normal are just plain cards. rare has a hologram effect on it. special are the yellow cards. super rare are the one with gold text and hologram effect (every set has 2 yellow special card that are super rare also). and of course, u have legendary. 2 to 4 in one set. a more elaborate gold text pattern along with hologram effect.
