Games for Cheap B@$tards?

Hey guys, I got a fresh PS2 yesterday :thumbs:
But I don`t want to spend 50+ bucks on a cup of crap game.

Give me a list of seven to ten titles I should look to provide a maximum gaming experince that won`t cost me a heck of alot.

You're in luck, Game Crazy (part of Hollywood Video) is having a sale on games for PS2. Toys R Us is also having a sale. Both places have games starting at $4.99 and going up, granted some of the games are old....

Example, True Crime New York City (newest one) - dropped down from $49.99 to $29.99 (so glad I didn't buy it on Friday). Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, $19.99. Final Fantasy X-2, $4.99. Unreal Tournament 2, $9.99.

We bought the kids their own PS2 so they leave mine alone and now we have to build their game collection since my games are off limits. They're not getting $50 games, mommy and daddy are, so I'm always on the look out for a bargin priced game and while most of the games that are bargins are older games there are many older games that are still fun to play (and which mommy will be borrowing).

1 - Manhunt / Any 18 Rated Game that promotes Violence
2 - Any Grand Theft Auto Game (or anything similar)
3 - BMX XXX / Leisure Suit Larry / Any Porno Game
4 - 50 Cent's Sissy Game
5 - Any TV Show / Movie Tie-In Game (well, not all of them some are good)
6 - Any Game Liscensed by Pop Stars / Other Celebrities (EG: Britney Spear's Stupid Dance Game)
7 - Any Football / Soccer Game (EG: Fifa liscensed crap..)
8 - Crazy Frog Racer
9 - Any Karioke / EyeToy game
10 - Power Rangers Dino Thunder

As for ones to buy.. I dunno, there's been quite alot of crap everywhere on PS2 recently. Although I do reccomend buying Tekken 5 (if you're into beatemups). Zone of the Enders is quite good as is Metal Gear Solid 2 (avoid the Substance version, there's a lot of worthless bonus crap on this one). Oni is quite good and you should find it cheap 2nd hand.. well that's all I can think of right now..

As far as I go, I only use my PS2 to play Grand Theft Auto, WWE, Star Wars or shoot 'em up games. However, I have been stealing my sister's DS lately to play Nintendogs, Mario 65 DS and Wario Ware Touched! DAMN! That does it! I'm gonna buy another frickin' DS cos not only does it rule, it plays my fave classic GBA games which includes Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire, Zelda: LttP, Golden Sun and Golden Sun 2, Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland and Mario and Luigi! :buttrock:

Godzilla: Save the Earth is a lot of fun and probably not that expensive these days.

Get the Prince of Persia series... all of them. They're some if the best 3-D action games ever made. Warrior Within and Two Thrones are especially good. Forget all these boring RPG's, PoP will make you crap your pants if you're used to taking turns like a good little boy in your fights. It's not just hack-n-slash like other sword-based action games either; you can use single or double weapons and your choice of swords, daggers, maces, axes, and acrobatic fighting styles (plus the wildest acrobatic platforming and deathtraps ever devised), and you can use the enviornment more than Jackie Chan on a sugar rush to punish those damn sand monsters. :buttrock:

I'm a big fan of Katamari Damacy ($20.00) and my nephew bought me We Love Katamari for Christmas for $30.00. Both games are incredibly original and can only be described as very different. The music for Katamari Damacy is fantastic, also.
