Did I ever mention how much I love Best Buy?

I went to Game Crazy (@ Hollywood Video) to buy a couple of games that I saw on sale in the flier. Went in, picked up the games I wanted and was told that they items were not on sale AND that the items I wanted had misprinted prices. I was also told something that was total bullshit, "Even if the sign in front of the item said it was a lower price and it rang up higher on the register, we'd have to sell it at the higher price." I told the guy that's fine, if they want to rip people off that way I didn't care but my money was going to another store. Went to Best Buy with their ad, picked up the games I wanted and four more games for a total of over $200 for six game. $200 may not mean **** to them but hey $200 and possibly even more since we're rebuilding our gaming collection for the three consoles we have plus the computers so they lost us as customers.

Well, I was thinking about Soul Calibur III but of course it`s way to rich for my budget right now. I really wanted this to be "special" since this was my "first gaming experience on a PS2" and I didn`t want to rush it:laugh:

I searched high and low and talked to different guys at best buy and wal mart. And I`ve come to the end of my thoughts on this prospect.


I`m going into the world of Ratchet and Clank! Jak is just, well a great game but dang if it ain`t tough as a nuked piece of meat. I`ve always liked the geekier side of the Ratchet series better, but I just can`t decide on which one to begin with. Is this Nafarious guy in all the games? He was hillarious in the Cinematech and CHEAT videos I saw of him. If the game is this much fun I with enough of a challenge I have no choice in the matter do I?

Sadly Dr. Nafarious is only in Ratchet and Clank: Up your Arsenal

That doesn't mean the other Two games are any less hilarous, or Good though. All Three are Excellent and Hilarous games, so I suggest picking it up. I would suggest the Jak Series but I still can't get over the tone jump from Jak and Daxter to Jak II.

Dont forget Jack you can also buy a TON of PS1 games to play as well (you just have to have a PS1 memory card for them)

I just hate that some good PSOne games still cost as much as a cheap good PS2 game. Always makes me hesitate from buying games I want like Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger. Xenogears too.

Xenogears was $35.99 at my local gamestop.
It's been YEARS since it's been released and the price has dropped only $15.

Anyways, a great game for a cheap bastard is definately Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater... I saw it for $17.99 at gamestop and I'm going to go pick it up later today
