French Horror vs. Italian Horror

France gave us that dumb horror movie where the girl getting chased with her friend was actually the killer in a truck, because she had multiple peronalities, and the story had alot of holes in it. I forget what it was called, something like High Tension. That movie sucked.

What are italian horror movies like? Kamm mentioned zombies, so they're already off to a good start.

This one?

High Tension wasn't bad, it was just a little rough around the edges. But other than that and a couple other select titles (even some of them are stetching it) I can't really think of many French horror films. Italy gave us some of the most shocking exploitation and horror films in the 80's and I will always love them for that.
