foundation X in kamen rider ooo

I was lead to believe Foundation X was Toei's way of tying the Riders together for the next few years, as Decade proved this was a decent way to print money.

A tv show recently compared Movie Wars Core to the Showa Riders team ups up to Stronger. If that's Toei's official instance, that should happen, but it also might be just marketing. The fact that Movie Wars Core hasn't been tied to the tv show yet kind of worries me.

Edit: At any rate, anything that takes place post TV series for W wouldn't have anything to do with Foundation X anyway. By this point they've washed their hands of the Museum and is investing in Cakeboss, Inc.

They don't need to be involved with Gaia memories specifically to meet Double. If Sanjo wished to use them, they could appear with some medal using device or just something completely new.

I rather have them just say that OOO from A-Z/Movie Core is AR OOO but just with the original actor.
They could just make a separate movie world(that would be Double's world if this where the case.) where all the riders can team up from now on.
That way the writer of the season doesn,t have to worry about the continuity of the previous season and if they want to do a team up movie they can do one in the movie world.

Naah, won't that screw up the continuity even more? We're all looking forward to continuity more than standalone series nowadays, I believe.

Has there been any OFFICIAL statement from Toei regarding this issue, or is it pure fan-speculation?

I am aware that they showed us the OOO medals in the W finale, but I really think that people are thinking way too much into something that was meant as a simple nod to the new show.
No offense, but we toku fans have a nasty habit of making over-interpretations of everything.

I doubt we are ever going to see Foundation X again.

Why? Sentai has done the "seperate team-up universe" for years. Why would it be a problem for KR?
People tend to forget that even Decade had no continuity to past shows. We got ZERO explanations of what happened to the original Riders, their enemies, their worlds etc.

I don't see it.

Me neither.

If I recall correctly, They called the OOOs Medals a new business opportunity didn't they? Which meant they only recently found out about them...if they had been working under Kougami from Day 1, they would've known about their existance from Day 1...maybe even incorporating some of his Medal Tech into their own.

A nod to a new show is using actors from a previous show in new roles, or making a joke reference to an old show.

That was foreshadowing. The only reason anyone would say it wasn't, and that we're just over-interpreting things...is because of the awful, fanfic-level writing that fans in general are used to and let slide.

If we don't see them again (doubt it), it's a dropped plot point, that everyone will let go for reasons I've already stated.

Apparently Riku Sanjo himself said it was basically just a nod to the show and a simple in joke not meant to go further than that.

Though if that's true, it really does a lot to make the last bits of Double poorly done.
