Force Unleashed DLC: A nasty surprise

So, you know how there was a certain segment of the fandom furiously masturbating over how the new Force Unleashed DLC would let them slaughter Ewoks wholesale?

Well... turns out there was a trade off for that:

I have to say... I can easily imagine a lot of the people who were looking forward to the Ewok killing being utterly dismayed to see this happen.

I have to say... I can easily imagine a lot of the people who were looking forward to the Ewok killing being utterly dismayed to see this happen.

Because the type of Star Wars fan who generally want to kill Ewoks in gruesome ways are the type who put Han and Chewie on a pedestal above all other characters.

So it just sort of amuses me that the ad campaign for this DLC was, "Hey, you can kill Ewoks!" and then all of a sudden the person who bought it finds out what ELSE they have to do...

Hell, having Han and Chewie go down like helpless weaklings instead of in some kind of blaze of glory rubs some more salt in the wound. At least when the EU killed Chewie they had to drop a moon on him.

I think it's great. If people take it that seriously, they should have Leia die from eating bad oysters in the next dlc.
