For Great Justice?

So, I have no first period at my school, and to conserve gas for my dad, I don't have him take me to school early, so I ride the bus. Well, the theatre teacher lets me stay in his room because he knows me, and we've both acted in a play together, so we're cool with each other.

Well, my friend Will was mentioning the "All your base are belong to us" phenomenon the other day, and so with nothing to do in first period, I got on the computer and decided to look it up on Wikipedia. I already knew what it was, I just like reading online for some reason. Well, I looked at the script, for the 'Engrish' translation, and saw that at the end, the captain says, "For Great Justice."

So, I was wondering, is this where our slogan came from?

Wow. I am astounded that the mighty AYB meme has now passed out of memory and into legend. I feel old, old, old. :redface2:

But yeah. Move Zig and all that goodness.

For real fun, check out the AYB gabber remixes on youtube.

Good god, has it really been that long since we were all bobbin' our heads to "All Your Base! Base! Basebasebasebasebasebasebase!"? :eyebrow:

That is indeed where it came from... it wasn't that long ago, was it?

I figured it was a slogan that would be instantly recognizable to pretty much everyone.

Well, I guess that was a good hunch on my part. Man, I should be a detective, I solved this case in less than an hour, lol.

But yea, that was a great slogan you found. I had never really seen the entire conversation between CATS and the Captain, but it's pretty cool that I could recognize it like that.

lol. i remember that. good fucking times playing that song over and over again in computer class in middle school to annoy the crap out of people
