Power Rangers RPM was more tolerable to watch. I enjoyed this show a lot better than PRNS-PRJF.

... And I have to say, I was expecting weird, but not quite THIS weird.

It is honestly the most bizarre Ranger show I have ever seen (and I'm only six episodes in at this point).

First you have them taking Go-Onger's monsters and mooks, who are some of the least frightening designs imaginable, and try to have them filmed as these monstrous, frightening things (despite the fact the show itself makes jokes about their appearance).

Then you have the show itself wildly flopping in tone between pathos about how 3/4ths of the human race has been wiped out and then flat out making fun of all the little quirks that exist in both the original show and the overall ascetics of Sentai and Power Rangers.

Top it all off with what is absolutely the single most ANNOYING character to be a Ranger ever (looking at you, Ziggy) and that weird Death Note parody with Dr. K's initial appearance and... I'm not sure if I like the show, but I think I'll keep watching just because I have no idea of what the hell is going to happen next.

I'm not a huge Power Rangers fan, but I enjoyed RPM a lot. I think if you stick with it you might too. I can see what you are saying about the tone of the show, but overall it's pretty solid. If anything the humor makes the serious moments matter that much more.

And give Ziggy a chance. He's a pretty good character and has some good moments by the end of the show. If nothing else he plays off of the other characters pretty well.

Damn it..I can't wait to see RPM again on Nicktoons very soon!

If they start with Season 1, it won't be soon at all.

It'll take forever to reach RPM...it'll take forever to reach TimeForce....so it being the latest season doesn't help either. lol

If they start with MMPR S1, by the time they get to Time Force, PR 2011 would probably would have started airing.

Could it be possible that Nicktoons might be crazy enough to air both the classic S1 MMPR and the previous RPM season at the same time?

I mean, it could be possible......Disney has done it many times in the early days of the Disney PR era with the whole "Power Theater" thing by showing the classic PR seasons while airing re-runs of the series that just aired in the previous year.

Umm Iono they probably might do that for sure, simply because we/the kids can get bored. But on the other hand leaving people with cliffhangers wouldn't be smart either. You can show Green with Evil Part 2..then show Maya and Kendrix fighting with each other because she ate a birthday cake..

So I think it's 50/50.
