Sweet! And since we`re talking about Filmation..

Although I may be in the minority, and this will probably never happen,I would love to see the Filmation Tom and Jerry/Droopy and Mighty Mouse/Heckle and Jeckle cartoons come to DVD

Well, if we're getting things like Space Sentinels and Freedom Force, I wouldn't rule out the stuff you mentioned.
Hopefully, but in the long run it`ll be up to Warner Bros.(for Tom and Jerry/Droopy)and Viacom(for Mighty Mouse/Heckle and Jeckle)

Personally, I'm thrilled to see these hit DVD. This is vintage Filmation, btw, Sage. Way before your time.

I'm 18. The only ting not before my time is the new Warner Bros. cartoons, Disney Afternoons, the DCAU-Timmverse, the anime craze for America and those god-awful "Cartoon Cartoons". But I grew up watching CN when it didn't suck, so I've seen a lot of stuff that was before my time. I've still never heard of this.

Filmation cartoons....lots of legal red tape surrounding them up till now or what?

Well, when I say "before your time", I meant Space Sentinels and Freedom Force as they were on in the late 70s-early 80s, which is when Filmation was pretty dominant since their only competition was Hanna-Barbera and DePatie-Freleng Enterprises.

And as for red tape--yeah, there was a ton of it.
