What about those weird and whiney reds like Kai, Ban (whiney) or Jan (weird, the trying to make him serious at the end I just didn't buy), or annoying like Yousuke?

hmm...actually i felt that every red has the common thing, the same sense of perseverance. Well, Kai himself has shown a very strong potential! Well for Ban his crazy sense of justice makes him too loud, which sucks. As for Jan, the only time where he got 'serious' is when he found out that dan is his father. I mean, if you found out that your father is a villian and you gotta kill him, wouldnt make it so tense? :S besides! He is a jungle boy, which make him a little retarded with all his wakiwaki nikiniki

My favorite Sentai is DekaRanger. Other ones I loved are DaiRanger, GoGoV, MagiRanger, and GekiRanger.

Heh, Go-onger was the first Sentai I seriously started watching, since then I've seen all the other 00's Sentai, Zyuranger and Dairanger. I still think Go-on red is great for all the reasons I've always said he was.

Yeah, he's a goofy fool but he still has that strong sense of justice and fighting like crazy to protect that justice. He'll keep on fighting even when there's no hope in winning and when he does that, he succeeds. He never gives up and never backs down from what he needs to do. He's a great leader like that and I'd even argue one of the better reds from the 00's.

Just because he acts stupid a lot doesn't mean he's less of a character. What about those weird and whiney reds like Kai, Ban (whiney) or Jan (weird, the trying to make him serious at the end I just didn't buy), or annoying like Yousuke?

Go-on red is great, and this comes from someone who's seen more than a couple series.

We're just the opposite ends of the Go-on spectrum.

Now although the other '00 Sentai's have **** Reds unless you count TimeRed then still not valid. Zyu & Dai had good leaders aswell but you gotta watch some more imo. Check out the Reds from shows like Bioman, Changeman, Flashman, Maskman, Liveman, Turboranger, Jetman, Kakuranger, Ohranger, Gingaman, Carranger, GoGoV. :loltongue:
