Family guy The Movie - Talkback

Just finished watching the Movie.
Funny Stuff, especially Part III, And for a direct to DVD film based off an animated film it sure came off better than Tiny Toons the Movei (sorry just had to say that)

I think it really comes together and is a great addition to the Family Guy Library, but One thing I do have to say is that despite what the Cover of the DVD may say, The Movie is definetly not Uncut. There are Bleeps editing out every "F" & "S" and The Closed Captioning is edited as well. Odd considering the Audio Commentary on the DVD IS Uncut.

So let the Discussion Begin!

Leaving bleeps in is funnier anyways, case in point, the show "Arrested Development". I haven't had a chance to watch this yet myself, but hopefully sometime this weekend I'll get a chance to watch it.

I Whole Heartedly Agree with you, But you don't have bleeps littering the audio track on a DVD you hyped up as Un-censored.

Saw it , loved it, the part were Stewie was trying to, oh whats a good word, man-up his older self was great

Is this the new "The Untold Stewie Griffin Story" DVD yeah? I'm gonna import this from Canada soon, cos it's cheaper. But not till I get paid in October methinks cos Great American Bash 2005 and Kuuga DVD set come first! :jam:

People actually bought this? I just downloaded it when it was leaked. From what one of my friends was saying, the leaked version seems to be the better choice. no bleeps and the dvd doesn't really have any super special extras for me to justify buying it.

It seems funnier when the bleeps are left though, don't know why.

Because you already know what the *BEEP*ing words are, *BEEP* sucking *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* reacharound with a live duck...

See,the thing is, that loud noise that seems to be a divine intervention in the show's universe of an unknown force censoring out the words it doesn't want to hear is funny

Case in point, the South Park movie. We were so used to them being bleeped out, but then we actually heard them say "****", "****", and "Rimjob". And we should have been happy, but it left an unpleasant taste in our mouths. Why? It's psychological. We knew what they were saying, but the fact that we never HEARD it eventually became expected. When that barrier was broken, we felt vulnerable.

As for the movie. Eh, it was largely disappointing. I honestly expected better, but the movie just did not do anything for me. I did like some scenes, like Stewie killing Chris's bride.

I was expecting them to actually do something new. The south park movie was just one big episode, but they actually did some different ****, like computer graphic scenes ( Kenny goes to Hell).

I would have appreciated a COUPLE eye candy scenes. Something to make me step back and go "cool". But NOTHING
