I was not born myself during the time of Eevel, but even to this day I am still facinated by the stunts he did. His legacy does live on with his son Robby, but Eevel was the pionear. No man could survive the **** he walked out of, like the botched Grand Canyon jump and the infamous Ceaser's Palace jump.
Possibly the most famed icon to ever screw up pretty much every big thing they attempted. An icon nonetheless, he will be missed, I'm sure. I've long considered Knievel to be nothing more than a glorified thug... I hope his conversion to Christianity helped him atone for some of that. RIP.
