I'm not prone to beleiving Quesada's going to be fired (though there's some major sales scandles regarding BND that are genuine and backed by ), but the meetings to retcon this mess already is one I swallow.

This same guy has also spoken about no control in the Spider-Man writing team, said Slott even going over the head of his own editor to replace MJ with someone else in her scheduled return

Whoa... that is big news... is this marvel boy some sort of mole at marvel? I get the impression he's a "wanted criminal" lol...

Oh well, big Q kinda deserves it, kinda crappy stuff nowadays at Marvel, the only reason why i stick to Marvel is coz having collected marvel stuff (I started with marvel in the good ol days of the 90s) its kinda of a waste to stop now jus coz it sucks.

Marvel_b0y is full of ****. The general consensus is that he is a marvel staffer thats debliberately leaking minor details of SI to hype the thing. And Quesada getting fired because the higher ups are pissed? Thats bs, Fat Joey may have screwed over the MU, but the fact that he is delivering solid profits year after year guarantee that he'll be keeping the job until he croaks or until the industry contracts again.

I read some things over at another informat's blog that also beleives that Marvel B0y is a viral marketer, he suspects it's Dan Slott, since Slott's been feuding with this "informat" on a number of occasions. He may be paroding the legit rival blog with his own promotional version

I think we'll know for sure by April 1st about his authenticity...he placed a not-so-subtle hint to the plausible April Fools joke revelation in his post about Quesada's "firing"

Of course not, Marvel_b0y is probably Quesada's kept man not some disgruntled employee.

He's done a fine job of running the company into the ground. By appealing to the collector's market and the fanboys who were like him growing up, he's utterly alienated kids and pretty much cut them out of the equation.

And that's the real problem. Without kids, the 12 or 13 yr and under, in the pipeline, comics are struggling and will continue to have to be more desperate and stunt/event crazed to make sales.

except for the fact that MArvel hasn't been run into the ground, thier doing ok. Now Spidey sales are crap right now and thats totally his fault but Marvel isn't about to file for bankruptcy again. but your right he doesn't care about newer readers. his whole "Everything you know about Spider-man If you started reading in the last 20 years is wrong" philosophy is flawed in the extreme, but Marvel isn't gasping for air.
