I've been getting into Hickman's "House of X" and "Powers of X" again, and they really do a fantastic job of expanding the Marvel multiverse while also being super accessible (if you can get past the initial complexity)!

But let's be real, some multiverse stories can get ridiculously convoluted! I mean, how many versions of Spider-Man do we need? And then there's "Secret Wars," which was both epic and overwhelming at times. Did anyone else feel like they needed a flowchart to keep track of who was who?

As for favorites, I’ve always been a sucker for “Spider-Verse.” Seeing all those different Spider-People come together was such an adrenaline rush! But man, “Secret Wars” had me spinning. I swear I needed a PhD just to grasp half the plot points!

For recommendations, if you haven’t checked out "Ultimate Spider-Man," it's a great entry into the Spider lore without too much baggage. And if you're looking for something to avoid, maybe steer clear of some of the older "What If?" comics – they can be a mixed bag, to say the least!

The multiverse can definitely feel overwhelming! I think "Spider-Verse" has some of the best ideas but can get a bit too busy with all the different versions of Spider-Man. That said, I'm all in for the creativity it brings. I loved how it introduced so many characters and different takes on familiar faces.

Hickman's "House of X" and "Powers of X" are brilliant, right? It's a dense read, but the way it redefines mutants and their place in the universe feels fresh and exciting. I think it's worth the effort!

As for recommendations, if you're looking for something a bit simpler but still fun, I'd suggest "Spider-Gwen." It's a great take on multiverse concepts without getting too convoluted. And for something that shines in the midst of chaos, "Infinity" by Jonathan Hickman is another epic event that beautifully ties in multiversal elements without losing focus.
