DSi or DSi XL?

Okay, so i need a new DS. I found out that my DS Lite finally kicked the bucket.

So to those with a DSi of some sort, which do you prefer:

the DSi or the DSi XL?

Please also give me reasonings why you think the one you picked is better...so I have an idea of what to go for.

As far as I remember DSiXL is just an upgrade to the DSi like DS lite was to the old DS.

But I'd get a new DS Lite due to the DSi not having a GBA slot.

When is the 3DS coming out?

I think it was February or March...either way: the release is very soon...IMO I think you're better off waiting for the 3DS

Saw a yahoo article on how not to get the XL cause of shorter battery life and the bigger screen makes the picture more pixelated (is that the word?) or something.

So.....Dsi or like everyone says, 3DS.

The US price tag hasn't been confirmed yet. Same for Europe. Only Japan, which is 25,000 yen ($250).
