Dragonball Z HKs?

Forever Knight

Eye See You
One of my buddies is big into the Dragonball Z series. Now, I just recentley got him into some of my Kamen Rider HKs and I mentioned that I was sure I saw that Dragonball Z HKs existed with english subtitles.

Now, I was wondering if these really do exist and where I am able to purchase them. An exact link would be appreciated considering I'm unfamiliar with anime. My buddy told me that the series consisted of almost 300 episodes and he needs them all.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

291 eps actually. And I don't really condone such an act of piracy especially because my friend Steve actually worked/works hard on providing accurate sub scripts on the Dragonball Z DVDs. The sub scripts on the FUNimation's DBZ DVDs are highly accurate.

Oh **** ya want HKs? Don't exist unless ya want Data DVDs. Otherwise, spending like $500 on Funimation DVDs is the only way ya can get them all.

So HK's don't exist?.....

What are Data DVDs?.

I just need all 291 episodes in box set form with english subtitles. How much would that go for?.

By Data DVDs, Rider Knight means DVD-Rs burned by some random person. The episodes in either AVI format or converted to DVD video. Nothing mass pressed by anyone like HKs or official DVDs.

Um, don't speak **** you don't know of. HK DBZ dvds do exist. I've seen them. The local Japanese Toy shop has them. I can see what he has and what he can get ahold of

You know Steve Simmons? That's highly cool. He really has a knack for translating.

Too bad 4Kids and their "Ultimate Uncut" editions of anime (which aren't even actually "uncut" as they are "unfucked with") have horrible translations (sometimes not even close to being accurate. I think it's because of them being dubtitles.)

Yeah, knew him even before he got into FUNi. He's a pretty amusing guy. If you have any questions or comments for him let me know I can pass it on. Just don't ask me to ask him what projects he's set up to sub before FUNi has announced it. He won't even tell me that info because it could endanger his job. He really enjoys his job although has a few bumps, like right now like working on Kodocha. Where he has to work with fax replicas of HAND-WRITTEN scripts. He can work from audio, but even that's not perfect. Although he sometimes tries to pay attention to audio because he's run into ad-libbed lines like in YuYu Hakusho.

Wow, he sounds like an awesome person. I've heard he has a Masters in Japanese studies. It makes a person with such mediocre Japanese skills such as myself a bit envious. And don't worry, I would never ask something so confidential, that's just dumb.

Oh, I heard he was working on Kodocha. I didn't think it was true though. That's great. But, damn...that sounds like really tough work (especially since I can hardly work with my OWN Japanese handwriting.)

But, anyway, if I do have any questions for Mr. Simmons, I'll make sure to PM you or something. He sounds like a really cool guy, and the fact that you knew him before that makes it even more cool. I've only heard of him through word of mouth.

Oh my, I have gotten a tad off topic, haven't I?
