Well! I look forward to this movie, it's nice that it's canon and pretty much the first movie since 1996.

I was hoping Trunk and Goten would just be a little older. Like 11-12. That would be cool.

Also, I preferred the Buu saga as the ending more than the Cell Saga. Never liked it when they kill of the Main character XD

None of the humans had as much potential as Piccolo. Piccolo was shown to be similar to Goku back in Dragon Ball and even in the beginning of Dragon Ball Z. Toriyama kept making Piccolo relevant because there was more that could be done than with the human characters.

I would say Piccolo came off as stronger than Goku at the end of DB, with Goku only beating him by luck.

I used to say that Bleach suffered from DBZ-syndrome, since Ichigo kept getting stronger while Uryuu and Chad faded into the background... But now Bleach has cluster-f*ck syndrome and it's trying to treat it by shooting itself in the foot.

Which is why I stopped reading after the Full Bring arc. I'll read the rest someday...but not today. It was a great opportunity for them to even things out a bit to. Oh well...Kubo needs more money.

Even more reason for me not to read it. That way I always have something to look forward to and won't have to cope with a series I have been reading for almost seven years being over.

I really disagree. Piccolo's strongest attack basically did nothing to Goku just because he was "blocking". Piccolo only came close to victory there due to a cheap shot while Goku was distracted waiting for the countdown to end, before that the battle was pretty one sided.

I don't remember Gohan being Ultimate Gohan in GT anyway.

The script writer of this movie has said that GT doesn't exist. No, really.

A fan on twitter asked a few months ago whether this movie would take place after Z or GT.

The writer replies that it'd take place before the manga's final chapter (This is interesting because the original question was clearly talking about the anime - the manga was always called just "Dragonball", not Z or whatever) and afterwards says that there's no GT in the original work (the DB manga).

It seems like the script writer of this movie is completely dismissing the original anime's story as unconnected to the original manga story, going by those words.

let me guess the z-fighter battle the gods and lose cus in tv no one can beat the gods e.g. the overdrive rangers could not have beaten loki in a fight only thor can do that cus he’s a god I hate how tv does that

anyway I look forward to seeing this but I wish it could have been after the cell saga with future trunks
