I would love to see the whole Buu Saga be remastered and edited but if they end it after the Cell Games, it's fine with me. I mean, it ends with Gohan as the new hero of the Dragon Ball which is fitting. But I was hoping to see Majin Vegeta in HD though. My signature was going to morph into him. Lol...

I'm saying this for the record, and I know it may sound really dumb. But all things considered, I'd actually rather buy the early 2000s saga sets rather than either the 2009 remastered, OR these new Kai sets!

If they hadn't had this horrible, disgusting, stupid idea of cropping the shows, as they did with the last remastered sets, those WOULD HAVE BEEN the definitive buys. But now with Kai, they're removing episodes and adding horrible looking footage and OP/EDs, that totally hinder the experience from a purists viewpoint.

So as dumb as it may sound, I still end up buying these sets... Even if they're dirty and not the best quality, they're uncropped... uncut... and exactly as they were aired.

Damn, you almost had me. What you said was so true and beautiful...but then this You're not liking that Kai is giving you the feel of less filler? It's trying to say true to the manga...which is pure :loltongue: And what did they add? All they did was touch up a few things, and they made a new OP and ED, so what? We didn't even get anything close to the original Japanese OP and ED's for TV release the first time around, at least they're giving us the closest thing they can.

It's not really being stuck in the past. Though, I would say the Dragon Boxes are a waaaay better purchase than anything else ever released.
